FAITH

Statement of Faith
As The African Apostolic Church, VaApostora VeAfrica, Vanotenda Mashoko aMweya Mutsvene a28 February 2020 we affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for our beliefs. We believe in the Ten Commandments including the Holy Sabbath of the Lord (Exodus 20). We continuously strive to live like our Lord Jesus Christ, who came to fulfil the law. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, baptized in the name of "the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit", and personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind in all communities that we live. The ordinances of the church are believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper. We affirm that the servant of God Archbishop Ernest Paul Mwazha was commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in Africa and the world over as detailed in the books; "The Divine Commission of Paul Mwazha of Africa Part 1 & Part 2" . We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, He rose again in bodily form. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and everlasting life. We believe in salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone as the free gift of God to all who repent and believe. (Mark 16 v 15) We believe in holy living, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and in the pursuit of righteousness, peace, and love. We believe that, in accordance with biblical teaching, a man should be married to only one wife. We also believe in the words of the Holy Spirit in the letter written to the Church on the 28th of February 2020.
Important Creeds
The African Apostolic Church adheres to all of the 10 Commandments including the Sabbath commandment. Thus, every Sabbath, apostles all over the world convene to worship together. The Church also partakes in the Holy Communion ceremonies held at designated tabernacles such as Chivavarira and Chirozva every year. The Church practices baptism by full immersion as instituted by Christ, as a visible sign of repentance. Members of the church who live nearby each other, convene every Tuesday, Friday and Sabbath (Saturday) for worship. Women also meet for Woman's fellowship (Ruwadzano) every Thursday. Church members are encouraged to always seek God through regular prayer and fasting.
